Modified Sine Wave Output
A "DC to AC" power inverter electronically converts DC power from a car battery to 60 hertz AC power at 120 volts like in your home. These inverters have standard household AC grounded power outlets.
The models we currently offer all require 12 volt input.
The 150 Watt model plugs directly into a car cigarette lighter.
The 325 Watt inverter comes with both cigarette lighter cable, and alligator clip cables for connection direct to a battery. The Cigarette lighter cable is for use up to about 150 Watts. If you need more power than that, you must use the other cable that are included to connect directly to the battery.
The 600 and 1500 watt models may be hard wired directly to a battery, or attached with included jumper cables.
The 3000 Watt model must be wired directly to a battery.
Please note: A typical cigarette lighter socket in a car has a 10-15 amp fuse, therefore the most amount of power you will be able to use through a cigarette lighter socket will be in the 120-180 watt range. Power demands above that range must be via direct connection to the battery.
